Residential housing units at Fort Douglas are available to faculty members. The units are in a prime location with beautiful surroundings. Several of these units are located in a historical zone and have restrictions on structural changes. Rent rates for all units include utilities of water, gas, electric, and trash removal. No air conditioning is provided but small window units can be purchased and used by residents.

Telephone, internet and cable TV services are provided by the University of Utah Office of Information Technology. The telephone is already connected and the phone numbers stay with, and are assigned to, each house.
