Monthly Rental Rates
Rental rates include all utilities (gas, electric,
water, sewer, trash removal and Expanded Basic Cable Television)
except
telephone and Internet service.
The monthly cost for both basic telephone and Internet service is $36.00 a month. All residents are required to pay this fee. For more information see http://www.it.utah.edu/services/connected/USA/
Please note that all rates are subject to change according to the University Student Apartments Rental Agreement. If utility consumption and/or utility rates increase, rental rates may have to be increased to cover these additional costs. Rental rates are established for each fiscal year, July 1st through June 30th.

Some furnished apartments are available for an additional $125 per month
Rental rates will be adjusted for inflation based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the 12 month period ending December 31 of the prior year.
Security Deposit
At the time you accept an apartment assignment you must pay the security deposit. If you refuse an apartment after paying rent or the security deposit, your application will be canceled and the entire amount paid will be forfeited. Failure to begin paying rent for the apartment on your assigned move-in date will be considered a refusal of the assignment and a forfeiture of all amounts paid.
The following security deposits are required with each type of
unit:
All Medical Plaza and University Village apartments: $150
Fort Douglas Housing: Stillwell Field $400 and Connor Road $300
