1 – Introductions/get to know you - The Council played two lies and a truth to get to know one another a little better. It was interesting to hear more about them.
2- Constitution—Resident Council went over the Preamble and other sections of the Constitution. We mainly focused on our responsibilities as outlined in the Constitution under Article III. Trina reminded the Council that the Constitution can be found on the University Student Apartments website under the Resident Council section.
3- Individual Responsibilities –Resident Council talked a bit about everyone’s responsibilities. Lianne will figure out what she needs for Sprinkler Day on June 17, 2009 from 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm in the West Bowl. Lianne will meet with Marci to review the budget for the remainder of this year. Melissa Burrow is no longer coordinating the Food Co-op. Resident Council would like to thank Melissa for the great job this past year. Shaela Beck will take over Melissa’s place and work with Melissa Orsak to coordinate the Food Co-op. Trina informed the new council of some suggestions a Resident recently made.
